The FEC's Office of General Counsel investigated and issued a report in February 2023. · On March 30, 2023, the Commission voted 5-0 to dismiss the Statement of Candidacy allegation 'with admonishment' and found no reason to believe the concurrent-solicitation and committee-designation allegations were violations; the matter was closed with no monetary penalty.
